Dr. Kathryn Gorski

Dr. Kathryn Gorski grew up with many unusual pets, including raccoons and flying squirrels. Thanks to also having an ecologist father, she soon realized at a young age that she wanted to work with animals and help those creatures who cannot speak for themselves. Dr. Gorski regards pets as loyal companions and family who deserve quality medical care and a strong, lasting bond with their humans. She strives to bring the very best, most progressive care to her patients every day.

In addition to her BS and DVM degrees, Dr. Gorski is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), is an AAFP Cat Friendly Practitioner, and is certified in veterinary acupuncture. Her professional interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, geriatric care, pain management (including acupuncture), dermatology, and wellness/preventative health care. Dr Gorski finds it rewarding to work with her clients and patients to help improve their happiness and quality of life. Professionally, she enjoys bringing resolution to challenging cases and problems.

Dr. Gorski’s advice for first-time pet owners: “Educate yourself and seek advice from professionals prior to getting a new pet to set yourself up for success.”

Dr. Gorski has a Golden Retriever named Bode and 2 cats Henry and Lucy.
